Ada is a fully autonomous Sailbot engineered and designed by students at the University of British Columbia. Ada set a world record for fastest and farthest-traveling autonomous sailboat, before being lost at sea. Ada was recovered on December 1, 2017 off the coast of Florida by a US Research Ship after having drifted in the Atlantic Ocean for over a year. Check out this amazing vessel and hear her story from the UBC students who created her. Also learn about their latest project to enter an autonomous sailboat in the prestigious Vic-Maui Yacht Race. ubcsailbot.org
